I’ve got an original Kawasaki ER6n 2016 and will probably replace it with a CL700-X as the Z650 is much more expensive.
I’d only stick with Kawasaki if they made a bigger bike for the same money like Suzuki and Honda both did recently. Seeing a lot of Chinese trucks and expect they’ll be like Korean ones quite soon. Japanese vehicles have got expensive.

The heat shoots straight up and literally cooks your legs. It dangerous
I taped a meat thermometer to my leg and it read 170 degrees

Even the 300NK is a great price.

I’m surprised there isn’t a lawsuit from Kawasaki but I realize that’s the way China plays and because of saving some $$$ people are willing to over look it but we shouldn’t be honoring the fact that China cheats.

My local dealership is 15 miles away. Many dealers have brought in CFMOTO motorcycles this year. Go to https://cfmotousa.com/dealer-locator… select the box for motorcycle and type in your city. CFMOTO has a large parts warehouse in Kansas City, MO serving their U.S. dealerships.

I have 2000 miles on mine now. Brembo brake system is a bit much, but I prefer that over basic brake systems with rubber lines. Gearbox/shifting is smooth as butter. Ride position is actually relaxed, as foot pegs aren’t too far back. The clip-on bars are not low at all, about the same height as most naked bikes with upright riding position.

I don’t see any of the local dealerships opening their doors to CFMoto when they are already supporting the various Japanese, European, and US manufacturers.

It’s my first motorcycle as well. Have put about 1000 miles on it since and no issues so far. It’s got plenty of power and is pretty smooth. Can be a little buzzy and certain rpms but it is a twin after all. I was $7500 out the door and feel like it’s a lot of bike for that price.

My local dealer finally is licensed to sell them but I had bought two other bikes. Everyone seems to love them and the value is just hard to beat. I’m considering the 650 to replace my smaller 400 I have.

You’re right, the price delta is $3,200. That’s what we get for doing math in our heads.

Was the indicated speed of 107 mph verified by GPS? Many speedos are off by a few mph, and that increases with higher speeds and I think it’s a real possibility that a speedo indicated 107 mph could be, oh, 96 or so.

I did go to the nearest dealer and checked out the ADVentura 650. It ‘fit’. however the almost $9k out the door for a $6800 machine was too much. Although the salesman did say the electronics package is equivalent to bikes costing 3-4k more, but I don’t know about that anyway.
